Freelance Unreal Engine Cinematic Artist - Matteo Grossi, London, United Kingdom
Client Work
Personal Work
Short films I write and direct myself — script, cast, motion capture, camera and grade.
Each one is made with external crews I bring together for the project: actors, performers and artists I collaborate with outside any studio structure.
This is where my technical skills and my vision explore freely, with no artistic limitations — and where the techniques I bring to client work get tested first.
About
Matteo Grossi is an Unreal Engine generalist specialising in cinematic content, based in London, UK.
Over a decade-long career he has worked across every fundamental area of cinematic visualisation — previs, motion capture, lighting and camera direction — helping dozens of clients deliver trailers, cinematics and commercials.
He directs actors and motion capture sessions on set, and writes and directs his own short films. Clients get a director’s eye on the work, not only a technical one.
He has proven experience with tools such as Maya, Motion Builder and Unreal Engine, and helps define pipelines across multiple departments.
Some of his clients are Industrial Light & Magic, Skydance New Media, Electronic Arts, Dice, Supermassive Games, The Trailer Farm and several other AAA game developers and marketing agencies across the world.
